Teenage Cancer Trust

Overview
The brief
To generate donations from visitors to the Marylebone Summer Fayre 2009
Our approach
We capitalised on the fact that everyone has a mobile in their pocket and can use it to donate on the spot.
What we did
Technology
We set up a text-to-donate competition publicised via posters, flyers and email marketing, which ran before and during the event. In return for a donation, respondents were given the chance to win fantastic prizes including tickets to see Blur perform at a sold out fan-only gig, an Epiphone guitar, a signed Spurs shirt and tickets to Guinness Premiership rugby fixtures.
The results
Response
Mobile was a new fundraising tool for Teenage Cancer Trust and due to the success of this campaign, it's now being incorporated into their marketing plans.
Client feedback
'We are very excited about running this competition and working with Que Pasa. This is a new area for Teenage Cancer Trust and we are looking forward to developing mobile technology into our future strategy.'
Julia Nex, Direct Marketing Manager, Teenage Cancer Trust.
Outcome
Ongoing client relationship.
